What this removes Metadata stored in the image file, including common camera details, GPS coordinates, editing-software labels, prompts or generator names placed in metadata fields, comments, and embedded provenance data discarded during browser re-encoding.
Important limitation This does not remove visible watermarks, server-side upload history, or detection signals embedded directly into the pixels. JPEG and WebP output may introduce minor recompression changes.
